57Simple Ways On How To Achieve A Hassle Free Thanksgiving Holiday
Thanksgiving is a big holiday for those of us who celebrate it. It’s a great family gathering. People celebrate and give thanks to what they have been able to achieve last months and also to ask for more blessings as the year ends. So its no surprise it also the most stressful time of the year. People have to get together with family members traveling from other areas of the country.
1) Shop Early For Your Turkey
Get your Thanksgiving Turkey now. Its important you pick from the best and not wait until the crowds arrive. Usually, the last weekend before the thanksgiving holiday is very busy at the grocery store. You definitely don’t want to wait this long to get your turkey. This week is only reserved for fresh produce like salads and fruits.
2) Make Sure You Know # OF People Attending Your Thanksgiving Holiday
Knowing the number of people attending your Thanksgiving Holiday is very important especially at these tough economic times. You want to be able to cook enough food for everyone and have a good time but not have food wasted because wasted food is wasted money. The best thing to do is have your invited guests confirm a 2 weeks out so that you will plan accordingly.
3) Make Use OF Last Year’s Thanksgiving Decorations
Decorations last for a long time, so there is no need of buying new ones every time Thanksgiving rolls around. I know from experience that when I go down to the shop I see new shinning ones calling my name. But I am frugal to the bones and I will not pick any because the ones at home will do.
4) Ask For Help From Family Members
This time of the year is very busy for everybody. So have your family pitch in with maybe cleaning the house, getting the in-law room ready by organizing it and having it presentable. Also they can help put up the Thanksgiving Holiday Decorations. Make it a family affair so don’t go it alone!
5) Cook Everything Else Likes Side Dishes The Night Before
On the same night also, prep are turkey and any turkey stuffing if needed. Why would you want to do this, some people might ask? For these very important reasons:
- On your big Thanksgiving Day, just put your Turkey in the oven and wait for it to roast.
- You don’t have to worry about not finishing your cooking before your guests arrive
- You want to be fully rested and have lots of energy; you don’t want to be looking like hell at dinnertime.
- In addition, you want to spend as much time with yours guests and be a great host. Its time to catch up from where your left last Thanksgiving Holiday.
